Tierra Madre School is pleased to introduce our new Lead Kindergarten Teacher, Ms. Saylor Ferrin!

Working in collaboration with parents and community members, the Lead Teacher is the cornerstone of a healthy, happy Waldorf School. We are thrilled to have found a trained and experienced Waldorf teacher who meshes with our vision and is committed to growing our children and our school with us.

Saylor began working within Waldorf Education first as a parent when her daughter was born seventeen years ago! She trained formally as a Waldorf Teacher ten years ago and has been teaching in various ways within the Waldorf movement ever since. Saylor will be teaching in California through the summer. She looks forward to returning to New Mexico, her former home, in August.

Enrollment is underway for this exceptional teacher’s class. If you and your family wish to join the preschool or kindergarten for next year, please contact the school soon and reserve your space. We know the year ahead will be joyful, stable, and full of new growth for our school community.
